Google Buys Motorola

In its largest contract so far, Google has bought mobile phone maker Motorola $ 12.5 million in cash. The agreement allows the search giant Android phone in front of their popular mobile operating system from Motorola to learn how to put pressure on Apple.

Please note that Google is acquiring one of the two companies as Motorola - good, but the search giant is resolved. This year, Motorola has been split into two companies. Mobility focuses on Motorola mobile phones and TV set-box top. Motorola Solutions offers products, such as walkie-talkie for businesses and governments.

Google will pay $ 40 per share from Motorola's mobility, very generous offer, given Motorola's shares closed $ 24.47 on Friday. This tax is 63 percent. In a blog post praising the deal, said CEO Larry Page, the success of Google's Android: 150000000 Android devices activated by 39 manufacturers and 231 of the 123 companies in the airline. His discussion on the purchase, said that the history of Motorola, "more than 80 years of innovation and communication technology products", and intermediate objectives have been achieved since the first portable cellular phone for almost 30 years ago.

Page also noted the position of Motorola in the founding of the Open Handset Alliance, and in 2008 for the Android operating system just for all the smartphone. "Motorola's commitment to total Android mobile devices is one of the many reasons it is natural between the two companies," said the page. Still, he insisted that Google is working with the Android as an open platform. Motorola is managed as a separate company. The trade itself is expected later this year or early next, and performs a reverse termination fee of $ 2.5 billion.
